It provides 8MB of L3 cache memory, with 4MB per core. Cache memory allows the computer to quickly access important data without needing to rely on the slower main system RAM. The Intel Xeon L5520 card features an advanced smart cache system, which means that the L3 memory is shared more efficiently between each core. The Xeon processor series delivers a 64 bit instruction set, which can handle much more information than a 32 bit system.This 2.26 GHz Xeon card comes with a number of Intel security features.
