    Best study Bible I have used.

    The extra content in this study bible is more helpful for understanding the text. While there is some commentary, what i appreciate is all the archaeological, historical, and cultural information that allows the reader to make conclusions themselves. The referencing system is all easy to use.

    Okay I guess but ....

    I love the ESV translation and the layout and notes are useful. I don’t care for many of the pictures. They simply aren’t as vibrant as I had hoped they would be. Warning with a smile: I am an older Christian and with the color reproductions, this is a HEAVY Bible. Overall: I would reluctantly recommend it at the eBay bargain price but though dated my older NIV Archeological Bible had better pictures.
