Lionel RIchie's affinity for country music (and the other way around) has been established since Kenny Rogers hit #1 WITH "LADY." This collection makes the connection all the clearer, and surprisingly, it does not seem forced or contrived. Richie pairs with various country superstars to rework his classic songs.
