    I'm a very happy buyer! The dvds arrived in perfect condition and are even better than described. The packaging was excellent, the cases carefully secured in bubble wrap then even more to make sure they didn't slide around in the box. And the price was more than fair. I wish all sellers were this careful! I would not hesitate buying from this seller again, five gold stars all the way!!!

    Good title.

    Bogart is always good. With these old movies it's a safe bet that both of us will like it, which is nice. There was lots of suspense, intrigue and mystery throughout. Lizabeth Scott sang and that was a nice surprise to find that she had such a beautiful voice. There's a little romance, of course and a nice surprise ending. It makes for a good relaxing evening at home and you can't beat that.

    More than rough Around the Edges!

    I am totally pleased with this wonderful film noir starring Humphrey Bogart and Lizabeth Scott. The story is very well told and I love films with red herrings, so this one is all the more better! Miss Scott is absolutely lovely in this film as usual and her acting is sublime. The chemistry between Bogart and Scott is very well established as one can tell that 'something' is brewing. The cinematography is great also! This film is definitely worth the watch if you like a lot of action and mystery - and you definitely get both!

    Great noir film.

    One of Bogart's underrated films. I originally didn't see it until 1977. Then in the 1980s I taped it off the air and later got a VHS issue and relied on that for many years but the picture was less than satisfying. This DVD solves all of that. A great noir film released in early 1947, the first half told in flashback with Bogie narrating. Highly recommended.

    Lots of twists.I like Lizabeth Scott, so I prefer when she plays a good girl and not a villain. Bogart is great as usual .
