    Octogenarian rock out.

    This is worth getting if you are a long term hard core Stones fan as it gives a good idea of what to expect at one of their planned concerts later in the year. The reason I docked it one star is because it isn’t the best Stones concert recording and only has half a dozen tracks on it, the latest album and a few well worn old gems(no pun intended).

    Proving That Old Geezers Can Still Rock

    Wow! What an album. I must admit, I was surprised. In the last year or so I've bought a lot of the Stones early stuff, ranging from several albums with Brian Jones, and other albums from the late sixties to mid seventies with Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood. After Tattoo You in 1981, I think the band became a bit stale so I wasn't going to bother with Hackney Diamonds. But whilst browsing in a record shop on the Isle of Wight I heard it playing and thought it wasn't bad. I decided several weeks later to purchase the double album with the live show as "disc 2." I was blown away by both discs. The live show is excellent and there is not one weak track on the main disc. The sound quality is excellent on both discs and I think Hackney Diamonds also demonstrates that Mick and Keef's writing has ...
