General Information
If you are looking for basic, general information, the book is ok. I have several railroad lantern that are about 100 years old and belonged to my great grandfather. I purchased the book hoping to learn more about these lanterns, but the book lacks the detail I hoped for.

Good book
This book is full of knowledge about kerosene lanterns. No color pics but the blk and white illustrations are very intricate . Full of the hx of these lanterns and descriptions of everything.
