Looks great, cleans well but needs a powerful loco.
Looks fantastic and seems to be one of the most effective off the shelf rolling stock cleaner you can buy. Downside is it weighs a ton - only found out after purchase that you need a large powerful goods engine to pull it as delivered. This was disappointing as purposely bought it to go with a Network Rail 08 shunter which managed to pull it a few inches before wheel spinning on the spot. Gaugemaster does offer a troubleshoot which is to remove the springs from the lower half of the wagon which I have yet to try but not sure why it isn't possible for the user to have the option to just remove some of the weights in the wagon itself - maybe an option for a second version?Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

VERY USEFUL TRACK CLEANER
After looking into several different track cleaning wagons I decided on this Gaugemaster Piko model after seeing a review on YouTube. I have a 9 x 10 foot layout ( 150ft of track ) and used the track cleaner with my Heljan CL26 to clean the whole track.I usually use a Peco rubber and this has been ok in the past. However, this Gaugemaster cleaned the track perfectly and easily and without problems with access. My locos which are DCC ran perfectly without any hesitation after the track cleaning. I was surprised how well it worked and hopefully it will continue to do so. The price being a lot less than other track cleaners was the deciding factor and I am pleased with my choice.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Track cleaning wagon
I purchased this unsure how good it would be as I have had other track cleaning wagons in the past, however I have used it on all my 4 tracks and they are all nice and clean so as far as I am concerned it does a cracking job I used a class 37 to pull it with no problems well I had one and that’s because a track pin was sticking upBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Needs a big loco to be effective
