Old product has rotten pads
Appears to be an old cartridge, which is understandable if they are no longer manufactured. But this is the second I've tried to immediately stop working - the pads that enable the ribbon to advance and be replenished during printing are rotten and very quickly (almost immediately) crumble away inside the cartridge, thus ribbon can't be advanced.
