My Summer Story was a coming-of-age-through-fishing adventure with wonderful paternal revenge collaborations. The ending tied up Ralphie's wisdom.
I had low epectations because I knew how much I'd miss the original cast of A Christmas Story. Delghtfully, this cast absolutely took the sequel to a well-storied level. Never did appreciate oatmeal, and neither did our dog.

Very entertaining.
If you are a fan of Jean Shepherd, this movie is a must have! Done in the same style as "A Christmas Story." Very enjoyable.
