I bought 3 items in the same transaction with the same seller. GREAT EXPERIENCE. All three (Spaceballs BR, Robot Chicken Star Wars 3 DVD & Star Wars Trilogy BR/DVD combo) arrived in excellent condition, just as described. Good packaging. NOT THE SELLER’S FAULT, but it took over 19 days to arrive to Mexico City. Shipping is slow to my country from the US. And expensive. It helped a little to buy them altogether.

Book arrived in excellent condition, looked new. It was not the edition pictured in the listing. Since I was buying it to complete a collection, I was looking for the same edition to match the others in the series. Seller promptly responded & refunded, so no complaint about the seller. This is not the first seller I've bought from that used a stock photo that didn't match the edition of the listing. I don't mind a stock photo, but wish booksellers would use the stock photo that matches.

A most engaging musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber that exceeds all the stage presentations by miles
The Casting of Scotsman Gerard Butler made the most believable Phantom as a lover, with the very youthful innocence of Emmy Rossum, as Christine, they were superb choices to create an intriguing triangle of loyalties in this most poignant classical love story...the voices were fittingly superb as well. Interestingly Butler had no previous musical training, beyond his preparation to take the role of the Phantom, but he carried a deep commanding voice that fit the role perfectly juxtaposed with the lilting soprano voiice of Emmy Rossum. An All-Time Favorite!
I love musicals. From my earliest memories, my favorite films have been based on musicals: The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, Annie..... Well, when this movie came out (without a lot of fanfare), I was a bit concerned that it could never do justice to ALW's stage production. I've seen Phantom live on stage and it would just be hard to compete with that.... However, the film was impressive. In the feature film format, I feel that I appeals to a broader audience, thus possibly creating a new generation of true Phantophiles! My kids loved it, much to my delight, and my girls begged to go and see Phantom on stage when the traveling Broadway troupe came within driving distance of our home. Emmy Rossum plays Christine impeccably and Gerard Butler is my new favorite ... I love musicals. All in all, this has become a family favorite. I've purchased at least 3 copies of the DVD, because we wear them out. My kids want to take them with us on trips to watch in the van, at friends' houses, on vacation, etc. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves Phantom or who loves musicals or love stories in general!

Still a winner after all these years!
The timeless love story of the Phantom of the Opera still thrills. The music is timeless, the view of the backstage at the Paris Opera House is interesting, and the costumes are striking. The love between Christine and the Phantom (and Christine and Raoul) is intense and suspenseful throughout the film. The quality of the CD is very good. There is a second CD with interviews and backstories about the production with is entertaining and informative. You will enjoy this set of CDs.The timeless love story of the Phantom of the Opera still thrills. Glad to have this in my collection. Many interesting facts on the 2nd disc.love the story and the characters how many things can be done and film that couldn't be done on the live stage. Here all the characters are showcased in ways that weren't possible can a live performance. It's a classic story done in fine Style by Joel Schumacher. I highly recommended if you don't like the acting you'll certainly love the score! Glad to have this in my collection. Haunting!
The MOST haunting, tragic, captivating movie of the Phantom of the Opera ever!! I have seen and heard several versions and this is by far my favorite!! Gerard Butler's portrayal of the Phantom is sublime and his singing is so mesmerizing! Highly recommend!
