SynopsisSet in the wilds of Maine, this is an explosive tale of an estranged son thrust into the hunt for a murderous fugitive--his own father Game warden Mike Bowditch returns home one evening to find an alarming voice from the past on his answering machine: his father Jack, a hard drinking womanizer who makes his living poaching illegal game. OUTDOOR MYSTERY WRITER'S COMPELLING MASTERPIECE
I've been an outdoor writer for more than 50 years. THIS BOOK IS A REAL GEM. The events are true to life. The scenes are set with A MASTER PEN. I know wardens as friends who would love to read this...as well as the average sportsman or mystery reader. The THREADS ARE CAREFULLY WOVEN. This guy can really write a story.
