heavy but engaging
i saw this movie many years ago and loved it. i have looked for it many times and could never find it. imagine my joy upon finding it again. have watched it already, plays beautifully, and the story has lost nothing with the passage of time. the characters are interesting, full of life facts, good and bad, the acting is excellent and it really holds the viewer to the screen. long and worth every minute.

TOO EXPENSIVE (even for a used copy)
Too expensive for the series...Other Judith Krantz series cost 75% less Even for a USED dvd copy..still too expensive.. .Great movie...yet cannot understand how the price is justified
