Take part in an epic battle between warriors and superheroes in an action-packed crossover game -- "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" for the Sony PlayStation 3. This gaming story pits the most powerful characters from Midway's notoriously brutal fighting series against DC Comics' expansive superhero universe. The roster of 22 playable characters includes Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya, Raiden, and Kano from the Mortal Kombat games, and Batman, Superman, The Joker, Wonder Woman, and Darkseid from DC. Each character has a particular fighting technique as well as a distinct finishing move. Freefall Kombat mode allows fighters to battle as they fall from one level of an arena to another, while Klose Kombat mode handles up-close grappling. While most games of the franchise have an M rating, this one is rated T for teen.

    A fun mash-up!

    This is a fun addition to the Mortal Kombat series! I'm sure newer Mortal Kombat vs DC titles have gotten better graphics and character rosters since this one came out, but it was my first introduction to it and I really enjoyed the game.
