Australia T.V. is Terrific
I'm truly impressed with this entire 5 part series! Sarah, the nurse, Anna, the writer and James, the proud child. The other actors were not great. But, they played their parts. George is dull. Regina could have been darker. Elizabeth, the grandmother was okay. I've enjoyed it thoroughly. My husband was even in front of the set for a few episodes. I'm probably going to take some backlash for my comments, but I congratulate the seller on your genius.

Story of a wealthy family and the people of a small Australian town after war. Lots of twists and turns to keep it interesting.
Great value. I had seen TV rerun of all but last two seasons of "A Place to Call Home". Since last two seasons were not being run on TV, decided to order and so glad I did. DVD quality is excellent.

An Excellent Series
An excellent series from Australia. The characters are believable and the series is entertaining. Love the Australian scenery and the house was wonderful. Strong characters that make you want to watch each episode. I would strongly recommend all 6 seasons, the last episode gives you a synopsis of the characters lives after the series ends.

Downton Down Under...a definite winner...
If you loved Downton Abbey, you will LOOOOVE this series. Set in Australia...beautiful sets, engaging characters, fabulous plot line...you'll want to binge-watch this. I started my 88-year old mom on this. She and her friend watch it together. They are on season 2...I have started season 6.

All I care about is if the discs all played well without skips or hesitations... everything seems fine.

You'll find out what "home" means
except for season 6 I own all of the series something you DO NOT want to miss. The Story, complex character development over the years is extremely well done . The scenery both out and indoors is wonderful.. Like Downtown Abbey , something to want to own and pass

this is a great movie I loved everything about it BUT where is season six??????why is it taking so long to put it out there ??you forget what the story is about by the time it is for sale

Best TV Series Ever Made! Totally addicting.
This is the best series I have ever seen! I have shared it with many people who are also rave about it. I just finished season 5 and now need to order season 6. It's a 10+.

Incredible acting,engaging storyline, addicting!!
Incredible acting, cross between Downton Abbey & Dynasty. Every single actor/actress does a wonderful job in those show. It is addicting and you can't stop watching it. Highly recommend.

One of the best series I have ever seen!
I absolutely love this series. I got addicted when I saw a few episodes on PBS and had to buy Seasons 1-4, then Season 5.
