Nioxin System 4 does a great job cleaning the scalp.
Nioxin is great for people with thinning hair (I use the one also for colored hair). It leaves the scalp open to accepting the Minoxidil I use to encourage root growth (or whatever product you use). I've used other shampoos that actually clogged the roots, and my hair started falling out again. I went right back to Nioxin and will never use anything else again. They have a whole system if that's something you're interested in. For me, Nioxin and Minoxidil does the trick.

This shampoo does it all !!!
You need only a small amount to get a nice lather buildup. Love the smell. Clarifies my hair, the way my former product did. My former product is no longer available, which is why I changed. It's a very good product and I'm not easy to please. I will try several products, before, I find the one that is a keeper. Also, leaves a beautiful shine...

Great product for Thinning hair
This product is superior compared to other products. What is useful with the Nioxin system of products is that your type of hair is important to choose the appropriate system. I have fine hair and also color it. These 2 facts lead to a recommendation to use System 4. There are other systems appropriate for other hair types such as for coarse hair. I feel the recommendation for my hair type is correct and have used System 4 for more than 10 years.

Fantastic for Thinning Hair
This is a wonderful product for those suffering from hair thinning and loss. Within two weeks of using it, I had new hair growth. I’d originally purchased a 10 ounce bottle from my stylist for $35 despite her encouraging me to research elsewhere. I just had to have it right then! Finding a 30 ounce bottle for less than that- what a deal! The shampoo smells clean and fresh while leaving hair soft and silky.

The photos are from 2015 with thin hair to extremely better in 2019. I use this product only.
Nioxin 4 for thinning hair, both shampoo & conditioner, restored my hair after extreme loss & thinning in 2015 from gallbladder problems, or so it was diagnosed. They removed the gallbladder. My hair is better than ever.

Awesome Product!
I have been using this product for quite a few years and never disappoints! Is gentle on color treated hair and has a pleasant scent. Does not dry out my hair and makes it easy to manage.

Best shampoo for thinning hair.
Nioxin shampoo is the best to help if your hair is thinning. It has a nice smell and is easy and safe to use everyday.

Great value
This is the best shampoo for thinning hair. I’m an older person, my hair was falling I start using this shampoo and my hair stopped falling. This is my fourth bottle. I highly recommend this item. Super quick delivery.

Great product, Great Price!
This product was recommneded by my hairdresser, and it's been effective in reducing hair loss for me. I love being able to get the 33.8 oz size twin pack!

Great product.
It the only thing I've used since 2005. My hair has always been fine and with the drugs I take from having cancer my hair has thinned. This product has helped a lot.
