This is a beautiful movie and just happens to be one of the visions I have to help children at risk and those needing healing from abuse and such! So many wonderful life messages in this movie. A must see like chicken soup for the soul. Healing horse therapy has been proven all over the world and this is based on a true story. The actual healing "Serendipity" ranch still exists and continues to operate to this day.
I stumbled upon "Adeline" while channel surfing. Because I am an animal lover, I decided to watch it. I am so glad that I did. This movie is based upon true events which makes it even more poignant. The story is about a compassionate, well-educated woman who devotes her life to healing others through her remarkable therapy horses. She even helps the autistic son of the town pastor who is suspicious of her healing techniques and her motives. I must say I detested this man. He spent most of the movie as a self-centered, self-righteous jerk. He went out of his way to vilify a truly good person to try to justify his suspicions about her. Anyway, I will not reveal the ending. This was a compelling deeply moving story with excellent production values. The talented cast were especially convincing in their roles. "Adeline" is truly worthy of your time.
