Excellent primer and more for blues piano
The late Ann Rabson is a very congenial personality with an easy to understand style and approach of the left hand carrying the bass line in the various forms of blues styles and right hand syncopations are equally dealt with. The New Orleans sounds of Dr. John and Fats Domino are explained very clearly and there is also equal instruction regarding the Memphis blues sound. All in all a highly informative instruction cd available at a better than competitive price versus the more popular instruction videos. If wanting to play the blues is your thing (either novice and far beyond) then the instruction contained on the cd will definitely take you there.
