Purchasing The Chronological Donald Vol. 4: 1951-1961 (of the Walt Disney Treasures / Collectible Tins ) completes my collection.. And I 'm thrilled.
All the animation from the Disney Studios when Walt Disney was alive (and could give his stamp of approval on the finished product) was excellent. His creation, Donald Duck, was his most popular with the public -- the animation kept getting better and better as time went on. This collection (vol. 4) was the capstone / end of the era for the Donald Duck cartoons. As far as good value-- that depends if you're an animation fanatic like me. These collectible tins had a limited release-- so they are rarer than average product. They are actually pretty damn expensive ...but I am pleased with my purchase, regardless.

Loving them
Donald Duck is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I love binging on the shorts. These are pricey on the secondary market, but I was glad to find them. When these first came out I was in school while still raising five children, and my husband was out of work (through no fault of his own), and we didn't have the disposable income to justify a "frivolous" purchase. The kids had to eat, after all. I'm enjoying them now; that's what matters to me.
