It works, BUT.......
I had a real mouse problelm and tried this trap....it worked but somehow they can trip it without being caught..this happened several times over a perion of two weeks....The biggest complaint is that once the mouse is caught , they will poop and pee in the trap and it is a real stinky mess to clean up....makes me want to just pitch it in the can and then obviously you have to dispose of a live mouse(not a real problem, but inconvenient).. 33 freed mice can't be wrong!
We saw one mouse and I bought three of these Tomcat Single Catch Live Mouse Traps. I put a little peanut butter in each and sat them near where we'd seen the mouse. Within an hour, a mouse was in each trap. I set them free outdoors and reset the traps. Another three mice caught and freed, and in the first weekend 17 mice had been relocated out of my house, which is pretty disturbing but these traps did the trick! Over the summer another 15 mice found their way into the traps and were freed. We had no idea so many were around because other traps didn't catch any. The design of this trap makes sure it closes, where other similar traps don't close tight enough and the mice would get out. It works best on a smooth surface, so if you have to place it on carpeting, a thick piece of cardboard under the trap makes it 100% easier to close.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Sweat Box
The purpose of this type mouse trap is to simple catch the little critters and then have them removed from the area to be released somewhere else. It works very well in regards to that. However, one thing needs to kept in mind. This trap is ALL PLASTIC and really does not have any type air movement through it. After I set the trap, I got busy with other things in life and did not get back to it for a full 24 hours. I was pleased that it did catch the little mouse...but when I took it outside to release it, I noticed it was rather weak and completely drenched in its own sweat and urine! At first, it just laid where I released it, looking up at me. After a bit, it dried out and recovered and scurried off. Its easy to set up. Put a little peanut butter, or smoosh some cheese on the opposite side of entry that pops off to accomplish this. Any food item to heavy like a nut won't work, and will cause the trap to tilt, and shut the entrance way, just a tad of peanut butter works. The thing that concerns me is lack of ventilation, and you can't see what you've caught. Other than these issues if the mouse goes in, he is in, its a genius lock mechanism that closes, and locks when the guest checks in:). It doesn't take much to tilt it. His, or her amenities are on the night stand:). Unable to check out even if they find the room to small, the following day are released into a whole new world. Catch and release live mice quickly without touching them.
Works perfectly! Caught the two mice our cat brought inside within 15 minutes of setting the trap and let them back outside. Directions are on the box. Just pull out back lid and put some peanut butter on it, put lid back on, pull the front open and put it where the mice are. Best humane mouse trap.
The design of this humane mouse trap eliminates false catches. It is the best designed mouse trap I have ever used. The only thing I would recommend is to make the breathing holes in the side of the trap bigger and definitely check the trap every couple of hours. The small holes could cause condensation, causing the mouse to die of cold if it’s fur got wet. Doesn't catch mice

Mouse trap
