Description
The book I bought was supposed to have no notes in the margins but it has them on many of the pages from cover to cover. Also a minor point is that the cover is different to the one shown. Still readable and good price but description not accurate.

Bought this for my daughter ready for her GCSE’s Wondered why it was so cheap! Old and marked all over, ashamed that much I’ll buy her a brand new one! Tut tut

Not a bad novella but it was for school exams and not for entertainment. Hard to get enthusiastic about it.

Very good at engaging the young readers 13yr
My child had to share the 1 book between 3 students and was not permitted to bring home to help with assignments. Guess this is the future of education. Parental finance.

An unforgettable title.
I've wanted to reading this for a while so reading it next, only just over a 100 pages so can carry it anywhere.

Timeless classic
Along with To kill a mockingbird and Lord of the flies, a gcse staple and undoubtedly a timeless classic. Very good entry point to Steinbeck’s oevre.
