Buying more as gifts!
This is only my second external drive ever; the first was a cheap generic brand that annoyed me no end. I must say that this drive has been a dream! It's exactly what I needed. Unreliable and stopped working 1 month after receiving.
When I bought this item it was working fine up until the start of April, I never moved it, touched it or the cable connecting it until it started to not work for some reason. After 2 hours of searching possible fixes I moved the cable and to my surprise it started working again. Deciding the cable may be faulty and this was the only device i had that took this cable i ordered a new one off of amazon. Using the new cable and pluging it back up it had the same problems the original did and i noticed the inside port that connects to the cable is wobbly and is having connective issues. Personally feel like this hard drive was sloppily worked on and was not properly refurbished, for just $10 more i could have gotten a new one that may have had less capacity but wouldn't be having these problems. I do not recommend ordering one of these products, and no i will not return this item as i put some personal data on it and would prefer to not risk someone copying it.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Generalüberholt

Works, when it works.
Would not stay connected to PC USB in 3.0 and would only work as USB 2.0. I bought a new 3.0 cable for $10 and it disconnected less but still wouldn't keep a usable connection when running 3.0. I finally decided it was not the cables and it was the connection on the HD itself. I was finally able to get it connected constandtly by wrapping rubber bands around it and holding the connector up by 10-15 degrees. Not wanting to break it open and solder the broken connection, I will use it like this since I don't keep anything critical on it and only use it for temporary storage to burn to other mediums. TLDR: Save yourself the hassles and just buy a non-refurbished drive.

Personal Portable Petite Past Professional PC Packager

You get What You Pay For
So easy to use. Plug and play. Everything it is advertised to be. Reasonably priced. Advice: Pay a little more for a quality product. Tried the chinese $25.00 hard drive. Those are nothing but junk. Feel Confident
The drive arrived very well packaged, it also included a cable. You cannot tell that it is refurbished. It looks brand new. It is quiet , small and tucks out of the way. Saved My Sanity
I could have saved my data to many blank DVDs, but an external drive is the smarter, faster answer. I simply plugged this into a USB2 port on my Linux PC, and it was ready. Nearly 2 TB of data took me a long time to save (over 1.5 hours), and uploading it to the new OS was as easy as pie. Refurbished? No Frills just storage

Good physical and capacity size
