Entertaining and well directed and historical movie, believable. William Holden and Billy Wilder both did great
Billy Wilder was one of the finest directors of his era. William Holden is great in this movie a very honest direct actor. Billy Wilder's family died in the Holocaust a realistic movie, I sort of doubt they would have gotten away with some of the things they did but they did have the Geneva Convention and the threat of the Nuremberg Trials hanging over their head, which of course was not announced until after the war ended, my father happened to pull Guard Duty at the Nuremberg Trials among other things. Engaging story line too!
