One day a beautiful violinist named Camille (Gallic beauty Emmanuelle Beart) enters their shoppe and their lives, immediately striking up an affair with the outgoing Maxime. But Camille finds herself unexpectedly drawn to the enigmatic Stephane, an extremely withdrawn individual incapable of expressing emotion yet completely comfortable with his own passionless solitude.     A film that stands the test of time.

    It was well packaged and the disc unused, as promised. It is a great movie. I saw it in the 1980s when it was released. It is one of my all-time favorite movies. One has to be good at reading subtitles; it is in French, and they move quickly.

    A good French film (if you like French cinema). It is especially interesting if you are interested in a case-study of the enneagram type 5 personality. Something rarely depicted in US cinema.
