Superb
A great war story taken from a Germany point of view . James Colburn as the lead is perhaps the only downside with his American manorisms. Fits the film exactly.
I first saw this film back in 1977, as I had read that it was the most authentic eastern front war film. I decided to buy this film for myself as it would seem to be so very popular with war film buffs.
