This should be the book all driver trainers use.
As a full time driver trainer on pretty much anything bigger than a car and specialising in training ambulance staff to pass their initial category C1 licence I've always worked to the Roadcraft standard knowing that if they can drive to the system then passing a DSA C1 licence shouldn't be a problem. Getting rid of the ineffective but sadly 'industry standard' MSM and replacing it with the system and encouraging greater situational awareness places my students in a good position as they then go onto their advanced and blue lights courses. Why the vast majority of car instructors still use the fatally flawed "look once then you're good to go" system is a total puzzle to me and once explained it's a puzzle to my students too. Good stuff for drivers

CHECK THE EDITION
I bought this, as I am starting to take Advanced Driving lessons and it was recommended. However, I then discovered that it is not the latest edition and does not have the latest on new car technologies. I am not doing this for professional purposes, so it is adequate for my needs. Very detailed instructions in road safety with excellent pictures to help understand. Helps you to reflect on how your driving is and what it could potentially become if you are honest about yourself. After previously working as an ADI - I have learnt a few extra skills and acquired knowledge in areas I have overlooked.
