US version is better
I enjoy the US "Ghosts." So when I learned it was based on a BBC series I wanted to see the original. I enjoy lots of BBC shows, so expected to be entertained. Couldn't find it streaming, so I bought the Season 1 DVD. The disc itself is fine and it plays on Region I players, but..... I don't care for the show. The BBC version "looks" like the American one, right down to the haughty matron, the scout leader and the no-pants guy. But the stories drag. Yes, there are no commercials but the writing on the American series is tighter. Worse yet, the Brit ghosts are mean SOBs. Spoiler alert for the next sentences: In the US version the ghosts try to scare the living heroine, nearly kill her and feel bad about it. When she can then see them, they befriend her. On the Brit version the ghosts are antagonistic throughout the entire first season and they not only plot against the livings, one pushes her out a window (it's never explained how, but it was clearly attempted murder). So, while I look forward to future episodes of the American "Ghosts" I have no desire to watch subsequent BBC seasons.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Better than the U.S. version , U.S. version is just a copy of British show .
Very funny show better than the U,S, version , and I like the U,S, version , only 6 episodes in season 1 of British show, the U,S, version copied several of the British shows stories and characters .Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
