I recommend purchase if you are a fan of the series.
Have not yet watched entire set of discs. What I have seen is a significant upgrade from the DVD format although some scenes are grainy. Usually night scenes. Sound is not great and could be better but it is not awful. Tolerable. Item arrived on time and as advertised. I would recommend purchase if you are a fan of the series...

MTV-Cops on blu-ray!
This title is a must have for any fans of drama/cop shows,one of the best ever! Picture and sounds are top notch! Best on the blu ray format,despite the older 4:3 type ratio,which is the way it was originally broadcast,be aware of that fact if looking to purchase,highly recommended!

Looks & Sounds Incredible!!
Was so happy to see this series Remastered in HD & in 5.1 HD Dolby Digital Surround. It looks and sounds Incredible, I had the old DVD set and this is a quantum leap better quality, so glad I made this purchase! Super Fast Delivery, Great Price and exactly as described, I will definitely be a repeat customer…5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way!!! Great Seller!!

TV show that defined the 80s
Great show. Amazing for its time, but decades later, to see so many big name movie stars appear in this is exciting. The newest addition to my rewatch list.

Great Series for an 80’s collection!
Still a great TV series. Great picture on Blu Ray Discs. Wish it was full screen like the DVD version but not a deal breaker.

A must buy for fans of the series!
This is a huge upgrade from the DVD set, which I also own. This BluRay version is in 24P, which gives it a film like look when compared to the DVD version. As others have noted, some of the night scenes appear grainy. That is only because of the high speed film stock used in night shooting. The grain is definitely within acceptable range and not bothersome. The daylight scenes are pretty sharp and clear. As to the sound quality, the menu allows you to select 2 channel or surround. I chose the two channel (Dolby 2.0), and have not noticed any issues with sound. In fact, I would say the clarity of sound is a huge improvement over the DVD version. All in all, watching the BluRay version is a whole new experience. It is also a much better experience.

A good flashback to the 80’s
Enjoying all the seasons😎 Wish there were some extra features or something, but the quality of the video and sound off set that. Some might complain about those, but one needs to realize that the show was filmed in the 80’s, so you can’t expect 4k resolution and razor sharp picture.

Quality product
Too bad it doesn’t have CC as it’s volume goes from loud to soft repeatedly……NOT AN AUDIO PROBLEM just the normal difference between a full auto firefight and a romantic interlude. Gotta love a full auto firefight on the streets of Miami

Miami Vice never looked so good!
Terrific audio and visual updates make the series look even better than it did in the 80s. The show itself ages very well and is not typical of other shows released during its time. It feels like you're watching something that was written today; a story about two cops, and the corrupt streets of Miami in the 80s. I've gotten through season 1-2 and it's great. Buyer beware- the bluray version is displayed in full screen, not wide screen. It is 1080p clear just not in the wide screen that we are used to today. Definite buy.
