Well done throughout,,, and Brad Pitt is crazy good.
Yes, it's a movie,,, but perhaps, more so, an experience. Like many a Terry Gilliam directed offering, the plot can be difficult to describe and/or follow,,, which, again, makes it more of an experience. An impressive cast, with Bruce Willis and Madeleine Stowe both bringing an air of believability to the plight of a time traveling convict trying to save the human race. As good a job as they and others do, Brad Pitt, as a highly animated psychiatric patient, is the best reason to experience this film. In my opinion, it's a movie well worth revisiting from time to time. After all, that is what time travel is so often about.

Terry Gilliam's Classic: 12 Monkeys
Terry Gilliam's 12 Monkeys is one of those timeless classics for now and the future because it's the pure stuff of dreams put to the screen with beautiful high production values. The story itself is complex and convoluted until the very end when the terror strikes as you realize (A) how this happened, from the very beginning and (B) the perverse nature that allowed it. A devastating film and I find myself looking around corners and trying not to be suspicious, hoping this could never happen but knowing that it could... It's a satire of the human condition, and how we go through life just doing our jobs, only looking outside the box when the unforeseen strikes to jog us out of our complacent existence.

Terry Gilliam created a Masterpiece
As usual, his movies are double deep so it takes watching a few times to completely "GET IT" but as usual, it's well worth the work. As apocalyptic as Soylant Green and as "Un-Stuck In Time" as Slaughterhouse 5 ...it's a trip...get into it Be Prepared, You'll never look at Brad Pitt the same way again!

More fun than a barrel of monkeys
Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis are at their best in this very original futuristic sci-fi flic.

Great pandemic shelter-in-place entertainment.
Liked this movie when it came out, but now that we have Covid19 it's even more fun to watch.

Great Movie!
It's a terrific movie, very well written, acted and directed. Can't imagine any other actors that would have done as great a job.
