The Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D412 packs a powerful bass performance that redefines audio experience. The Rockford Fosgate car subwoofer works especially well with multi-subwoofer configurations. The dual voice coil design gives the user different options for wiring it to make the most out of the amplifier. It is a 1-way component car subwoofer with 500-watt RMS. With a mounting diameter of 11-inches, the top mounting depth of this 12-inch car subwoofer is 6.75-inches while the bottom mounting depth is 7.13-inches. The 2.5-inch dual voice coil of the Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D412 works off of double stacked ferrite magnets, which produce a 1000-watt peak power. Furthermore, the light weight and high strength come from the Kevlar fiber semi-pressed paper cones. The sealed, compressed, high excursion poly-ether-ester of the Rockford Fosgate car subwoofer makes the surround of the woofers tough, durable, and flexible. Rockford Fosgate P3D4-12 Punch P3 DVC 4-Ohm 12-Inch 600-Watt RMS
These subs hit hard and run well in a quality ported box. Cost is also very good runs with subs costing twice as much. I have a pair wired at 1 ohm with a KENWOOD KDC-X998 head unit and a Pioneer GM Digital Series GM-D9601 2400 Watt Monoblock Class D Car Amplifier pushing them. I did fill the box with some Pol-Fil.

amazing performance at a low price
im running an alpine mrp 500watt amp on this sub and the sound that im getting is awesome, considering this sub is rated for 600 watts i cant imagine much better performance. im very sartisfied and will buy this sub again when i need one, dont look else where for the price this is the sub you need, im running my dvc 4ohm at a 2ohm load, it KNOCKS!!!, my friends say what "subs"do you have, my response is i only have one 12in. sub, they dont believe me until i show them then they say can you do my system for me, moral of the story, for the 135 i spent on this sub you cant get much better, stop looking and purchase this rockford P3. you will not be disappointed. i would suggest 500-600 watt per sub for optimal performanceBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Excellent sound and price!
I have this 12" sub in my 2012 Sonata in a ported 1.8 cu ft (recommended spec for this sub) being powered by a Kicker DXA1000.1 mono amp. The sub is wired for 2 ohms and the amp is on 50% gain. I also have Dynamat Xtreme lining the trunk. After all that, this sub vibrates my trunk lid (no license plate rattle). Easily one of the best 12" subwoofers for the money. Best deal for a very powerful subwoofer.

Poor quality
The baffle on box does not fit sub needs to be router to larger hole the amp wire kit that came with it states its 4 gauage but its just 8 gauge with a 4 guage insulation the conectors in kit dont seem to be to bad they are for 4 gauge so thats a plus had i known amp kit and box were basically useless i would have bought sub straight threw rockfordBestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu
