The Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series is a comedy and comes in a nine-disc set, which was released by Mill Creek Entertainment on May 8, 2010. The Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series tells the story of an American English teacher (played by William Katt) who comes across a special alien suit with mysterious powers. The instruction manual for the suit disappears and the teacher as well as his group of friends, played by Connie Sellecca and Robert Cupp, must figure out the proper way to use the suit before chaos ensues and the aliens claim the town and the world. The nine-disc set of the comedy The Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series contains 43 episodes with over 600 minutes of show as well as bonus content including extras and outtakes which were not shown in the regular episodes as well as commentary from the director and each of the actors which give their insights on the show and the relationships which were forged.

    Greatest American Hero: The Complete Series

    Got this for my hubby... He is a major Movie (and TV) Buff and Collector and was so excited to add to his collection!! He has been wanting the series for a while, and I jumped at the chance to get it for such a great price!!

    im happy to have all episodes,not seing a title eppisode from other dvd?

    im sure i watched this show when it came out in the early 80s. i had first only season 1 on dvd, bought the complete series,9 disc set. there is a title from an episode within my first season, but i dont see this episode listed anywhere within this complete series. i still have some disc or eppisodes to watch but im going to be quite disturbed if this complete set doesnt have this one eppisode i want to see? chris.

    Love the series but sad things in the DVDs

    Changing the songs from the time to something that is not copyrighted is sad and detracts from the episodes where it ties in to the plot. There's also no subtitles available so that's a negative. But, it's still better than not having access to the series. Yes, all the discs come in paper sleeves that are stacked inside the large (in width) DVD (length and depth) box.

    THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO

    I love this goofy show, he couldn't fly to save his life, but he was right on time. This is one of these timeless shows such as Punky Brewster, Good Times and Battle Star Galactica. I highly recommend buying this television series from this seller.

    A True '80's Gem

    I watched this show from the first episode to the last when it was originally broadcast.. Yes, it was very 1980's corny with some rather campy special effects and characters, but that's what (and still gives) this its' charm. It still holds up well even after more than 30 years after it's original broadcast and is solid entertainment for people of all ages .
