"Commander in Cheat" is a story of Donald Trump's involvement with the world of golf, both as a player and as an owner and developer of fine golf clubs. The author feels you can learn a lot about a person by knowing how they behave when playing golf. Admirers of Donald Trump will be disappointed. A good read.
Loved the book because it describes Donald Trump to a "tee." He is the Commander in Cheat in every sense of the expressions. All he cares about is being declared the winner, no matter the means, nor even if he actually won. Cheat to win …
Shows Trump in the true light of psychological derangement in whatever he does. The author portrays a comical yet pitiful person as he describes Trump’s deplorable character. Says it all
It makes all the sense in the world...correlating his lying and cheating with all that he cares about - golf. His uneducated and misspelled words all the time. His misappropriation of funds...his abuse of power. The ego and eccentric idiot that he displays to us every day, and paying people to cheat FOR him. Very funny in places too, this book. The subtitle misled me.
The subtitle misled me. There is no "explanation" of JDT -- merely further revelations of his behavior I had hoped to gain some insight into the origin/development of the personality and behavior of JDT. Instead the book is a well documented litany (I would estimate a hundred or more) of examples of his bullying, denial of truth, disregard of common decency, absence of any moral compass, self-aggrandizement, and the seeming congenital nature of him as an inveterate cheat & liar. Informative and entertaining!

Spot on book!
