Rebellion's stealth shooter series returns with a new focus on open gameplay and all the gruesome slow-motion kills gamers expect in Sniper Elite III. Players once again take on the role of American OSS agent Karl Fairburne as he heads to the rocky desert landscapes of North Africa during WWII to battle the Nazis and prevent them from building a super weapon. The varied terrain and expansive environments give gamers the freedom to plan their missions, plot their escape routes, and kill their targets in a variety of ways, including long-range, short-range, and melee assaults.<br><br>Players gain experience points and earn sniper ranks as they kill members of the Afrika Korps, unlocking more than 40 rifle parts along the way. The signature Kill-Cam returns, with the inclusion of full musculature and circulatory systems adding even more detail to the slow-motion depictions of bullets piercing flesh, while the new Vehicle Kill-Cam offers the same x-ray vision when gamers disable jeeps, trucks, and tanks. Multiplayer fans can take on five different competitive modes for up to 12 combatants, or they can join a friend for new Survival missions, classic sniper/operative Overwatch missions, or a co-op version of the main campaign.

    Despite mainstream reviews

    This game is great for campaign players. It addicting and you can skip the slow motion xray videos when you kill someone so its not irritating. I like it, bought it to test the gameplay before buying SE4, and it compelled me to want the new one.

    Good game of Sniper elite !

    I played this game , not bad for sniper elite game , you going to like but next game is even better but the graphics are cool for the third game.

    Sniper Elite 3

    With the bullets in slow motion and watching them destroy enemies’ human organs, I would consider this game a work of art. The reason I’m giving it only 3 stars is because it usually takes two bullets - from a sniper rifle - before the enemies are deceased.

    Gameplay

    I enjoyed the game to the extent that it was a straightforward shooter game without all the special armor suits out of this world weapons that might or not exist like in the movies. My only disappointment it was only six or seven campaigns, wish there was more. Maybe they will make another down the road, but overall I enjoyed playing the game, graphics and theme of the game.
