Product Information

NCAA Football 08 begins another season on the PlayStation 2 by adding a Campus Legend" mode where gamers must begin as a greenhorn high school player and work their way up in status and skill. After completing an all-star championship series against other regional high schools, players are presented with a list of colleges interested in having their abilities on the field. Gamers begin as the lowest rated team member, and must spend time earning practice points in order to advance up the roster. Players may spend their free time playing basketball, going to movies, or studying. On the field, gamers can influence other players and lead the action during plays with the Leadership Control. Improvements with the Hit Stick allow smaller players to low tackle larger opponents who sport shoulders of steel. Throughout the game there will be chances to spend some time on the field of 115 different stadiums, as well as study the playbooks of each collegiate football team.

    Quality and conditioning was great. But ...

    Quality and conditioning was great. But due to the repeated cleaning of the disc the interior of the cd is damaged which makes it non playable. No scratches on the outer part of the cd, but the inner part has bubbling and cracked. I guess I should expect that from a game from 2008.

    Oh well

    Althought i do enjoy the game graphics are questionable it appears to be dark after making adjustments on my monitor

    Still compelling in 2019

    Although, I love last generation ncaa games,the PS2 and OG Xbox era offers awesome gameplay and modes that didn’t make it to the 360/ps3.Well worth the money!

    Remember when they made NCAA games?

    Classic, deeply nostalgic for me. Remember when Tennessee was good and Nebraska and Colorado were in the Big 12? Good times. Works great for a decade-plus old disc and came in on time. Easily worth the price paid.

    Great game

    No issues with the game, came earlier than estimated and my husband has played it at least once a day since Christmas. I’d say it’s winning! The graphics are about as good as they can be considering it’s more than a decade old but definitely in great condition.
