Christopher Robin enters the real world.
It came as a shock to me that the original Christopher Robin did not seem to value his role in the Winnie-the-Pooh stories. I can, though, understand that he must have resented his parents' eagerness to exploit him in the way they did for commercial purposes. It does all rather tarnish the shine that an innocent reading of the A.A. Milne "Pooh" books creates in the reader's mind. The era they lived in cannot have helped, either: upper class, public school, army war experience...……………. it must have been hard to come to terms with it all for him. But it is certainly a film that anyone interested in Winnie-the-Pooh should see.

Goodbye Christopher Robin!
Because it is a fascinating true story, superbly directed and acted. The atmosphere is mesmerizing, and the fact that is a true story is so much stronger and moving. Many years ago I read Winnie the Pooh and loved it, but I didn't know the story behind. Throughout the film there is a conviction about the meaning of peace, and what war means, which tragically leaves us to rebuild what has been destroy, and that is insanity. Wars are concocted by dirty politics, the military and the arms manufacturers,only for profit and false glory. Tragically it's the people who suffer, not them! This film should be seeing more often. The scenes in the woods are magic. Absolutely superb! Couldn't recommended enough.

Beautiful scenery
Heartbreaking story, beautifully told. Very strong acting, lovely scenery.Domhnall Gleason amazing, as always, and Margot Robbie also, but Will Tilston steals the film. Well worth a watch, but be ready to cry.

A lovely surprise!
I was not sure what I expected from this film but found it a lovely and gentle film in some parts, and so glad I bought it. Seeing a different side to the stories and why and how they were written makes it all the more beautiful. Well worth watching.

Really enjoyed this film, lovely story of the relationship between A A Milne (who wrote Winnie the Pooh) and his son. Brilliant!

Well recommended and enjoyable entertainment
Enjoyed Goodbye Christopher Robin very much, well characterised and protrayed by all actors involved with the production. Would recommend as a very enjoyable entertainment film.
