This collection contains the entire first season of the cult favorite television series HERCULES - THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS. A hit when it aired, the series was preceded by five television movies, also included in this set. The show stars Kevin Sorbo as Hercules, the son of Zeus and a mortal woman, Alcmene. Given to tempestuous fits of anger, Hercules decides to control his rage once and for all by using his supernatural abilities for the good of man. Along with his friend Iolaus, Hercules roams the Earth to fight mythological monsters and help humanity.

Only bought for 3 episodes w/Xena.
I'm not a huge fan of this show but I bought it for the 3 episodes with Xena in it. It was worth it. I get tired of shows like this one showing women as damsels in distress.

12 year old Grandson is loving it
I bought this in an attempt to get my Grandson to set down the iPad for a while. He's eating it up. I can see myself buying the following seasons.
