Reviews3 stars out of 5 -- "It's a sparse affair dominated by Nadler's silvery soprano, which flits and floats above a gentle mandolin.", 4 stars out of 5 -- "She sings like the '60s Marianne Faithfull fronting a particularly sorrowful Mazzy Star, and fingerpicks with all the hypnotic power of Leonard Cohen..."
I've come to love Marissa Nadler's voice and music over the years and this album does not disappoint. Dreamy, intimate and meaningful, this album is up there with the best. Buy it!
