Product Information

You are Batman in Batman Returns, a side-scrolling action game based on the Tim Burton movie of the same name. Using an assortment of fighting moves and an armory of gadgets, such as a Batarang, grappling hook, and other projectile weapons, you must follow the storyline of the movie and save Gotham City by stopping Penguin, Catwoman, and the Red Triangle Circus Gang. The seven stages of battles will take you to the city rooftops, the circus train, Gotham Plaza, the streets of Gotham, and the Penguin's lair, where you must fight the Penguin and his tiny, missile-launching penguins. Unlike the other six levels, in which you control Batman as he runs, jumps, and fights, stage five puts you in the driver's seat of the Batmobile.

    I will preface this to say this is not a bot review for those looking. The product arrived exactly as advertised CIB. The condition exactly matched what was shown. While it was already in a bubble mailer, they also took the extra care to wrap in in more bubble wrap, and even include a slip of bubble wrap inside the case on the off chance the disc fell out. Overall very impressed with the professionalism of this seller, and highly recommend if you are looking to get retro games they have.

    Package was extremely well packaged with 3 different layers of foam on it and bubble wrap inside the case to protect the game. Everything was as described in excellent condition. I really appreciate the extra effort to insure the game is not damaged in shipping and the shipping was fast on top of that. Great value and quality and I highly recommend this seller.

    Sega genesis Batman Returns Cartridge

    I just got my used Sega Genesis Batman Returns Game in the mail a few minutes ago. I can tell you so far that the game came in a timely manner. The game plays well on my Retron 3 system. The graphics are good, and the gameplay is good and it represents the source material accurately.

    Decent follow-up to Batman for the Genesis

    Batman Returns on the Genesis is a decent game with some elements from the actual movie but overall when compared to the SNES version it doesn't deliver. No stage or option where you could either Drive the Batmobile as with the SNES version. I was hoping for at least an option where you'll be able to use the batboat but no such stage. Still not a game.

    A fun game still

    Fun beat em up for nostalgia purposes. Not the best on the Sega Genesis, but definitely not the worst.
