    Great product if you can get it to work!

    I must add that this was not a good experience. I spent the whole day trying to make the d-link work. The web app is not user friendly, the website is confusing and if you are willing to spend the time and frustration, the product works great! My bet is that the return rate on the D-link is high, not because it doesn't work, but because users can't figure out how to make it work. In the end the problem was the model number shown on the website and on the packaging was shown as 932L when in fact the software was looking for 932LL Paul Finnigan

    Easily viewable on a web browser, adequate image, but setup is a big pain.

    These 932L are always a pain to set up. Factory reset puts the camera on a non-standard network, then you need to change your PC's network so it can communicate with the camera. I have never found complete instructions for this procedure, I had to write my own, and it's a full single-spaced page long. Even so, I continue to buy these because they can be viewed from a browser without needing to install any special software on the PC. I'm in a situation where I am not able to install "non-company" software, so this is a big selling point. I have not found any other cameras that can be viewed on a simple browser. The image is reasonable (although NOT razor-sharp focus). The IR illumination is what you'd expect for a small number of LEDs. I'd call it "adequate" as far as cameras go. ...

    Can be a bit tricky to set up.

    I do IT work and I had to mess with it for an hour or so to get it all set up. I am using this camera to watch my pet turtles. It is under a high pressure sodium light. Under such bright light, the camera draws horizontal light and dark bands. I bought the camera because of the view over internet feature as I want to watch the turtles bask while I am away since the scatter when I am around.

    nice day night camera

    Have a D-Link system with a DL202 recorder. the 930 cameras work fine in day light but that is it. Needed a night time camera that was compatible with my system. This on seems to do the trick. Night mode goes to black and white. It works for what I need to do

    Tricky setup

    The camera itself works good. When I first loaded the software and set it up as wireless it informed me it needed a firmware update. It said it needed to do that with a wired connection. After the update I could not switch it back to wireless. I had to do a hard reset and then start the setup from scratch and then set it wireless. Would have been easier with clearer instructions. But once updated and set up it works quite well. Color picture in daylight, B&W on infrared. Sound works well. I might buy another one!
