Exceptional performances by Redford and Hoffman are complemented by Jason Robards as the dubious but supportive executive editor at the Post, and Hal Holbrook's celebrated characterization of mysterious informer Deep Throat. The pacing of the film is quick and exciting, drawing viewers into the action of one of the most intriguing mysteries in all of American political history.

PERHAPS THE BEST "NEWWSPAPER" MOVIE EVER!!!
Excellent writing, directing, and acting in this historical, fact-based movie about the events surrounding the Watergate investigation of the 1970s. Redford and Hoffman both turn in superlative performances as Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein of the Washington Post, the newspaper that broke the Watergate story that led to the resignation of then president Richard M. Nixon. In addition to those performances Jason Robards puts in an Oscar-winning performance as Ben Bradley, the editor of the WAPO. Also stars veteran character actors Jack Warden, Martin Balsom, and Hal Holbrook as the mysterious "Deep Throat".

GREAT MOVIE GETS SUPER HI-DEF UPGRADE
I've seen this movie on widescreen laserdisc and normal flat dvd. Now it get SUPER HI-DEF transfer for this digibook release. Excellent treatment for a movie that's more than 30 years old.
