Like Seeing Emily Dickinson in Person!
Fabulous dvd of the great actress, Julie Harris, in a one-woman performance portraying the poet, Emily Dickinson. She is riveting and charming as she makes you feel as if it is not a performance at all but the real life poet speaking to you. It's really an extraordinary performance that I highly recommend to anyone interested in poetry, fascinating women, and acting. Any aspiring actor or actress could learn so much from the way Julie Harris performs in this dvd.

Just excellent!
Julie Harris nails it. I never much cared for Dickinson's poetry until I saw this. Recommended to me by an actor friend who saw it live.
