The perfect children's toy when they want to play "Welder" or "shop technician."
The description says it's a clear uncoated lens, yet it is NOT clear enough to see through it. After removing the protective film from the clear shield I noticed many light scratches. That said, I cannot image it lasting very long, meaning if it already has light scratches out of a brand new box, how long could it possibly take for the shied to be completely destroyed? It states that it is designed for rugged jobs, it’s tough where it has to be and that it easily will stand up to airborne debris, splash and welding infrared radiation. This is not the case at all. The quality of this product is not worth the money that they're going for. On the other hand, if you're interested in giving this to a young child so they can play "Welder" or "shop technician" it's the perfect gift, especially if the price of the item was under $10.00 USD.

Nice Outdoor Protection Product
Easy to assemble. Adjustable. Fits snug. Probably not suitable for heavy duty rugged industrial tasks, but more than adequate for domestic tasks like eye/face protection during tree pruning, brush clearing, etc. Great value.

Great value face shield
The shield gives you maximum visibility, is very lightweight, while being quite durable. I like the fact that I can wear this for extended periods of time with no head or neck pain. The head band is also comfortable and adjustable with just one hand.

Save you eyesite by using this product
This is one of the best products I have ever bought on Ebay and I highly recommend it for anyone using a cut off wheel or grinder or anything that can harm your eyes. I was using a pair of safety glasses when using my cut off wheel and a shard hit me in my eye and that was it for me I said never again would I use safety glasses they just don't give you full protection. The shard hit me in the face and bounced up into my eye not fun.

If you purchase more because the first one worked well, that's really what matters. As a fairly light face shield working in tight quarters (inspection tunnels, etc.) when wearing a respirator, it's good gear. It's functional for what I need.

Use both at home and work
I keep one at in my home shop for grinding and fabrication on my old car and truck. Got my job to buy us several, use hours a day for the guys who have to grinding aluminum and copper bars for welding prep

Face shield
Just as described, perfect for the intended use of protection while grinding . I still use safety glasses under for extra protection.
