Great Kids Book
I actually bought this for my wife, as her dog is a Kerry Blue Terrier, which was the real-life inspiration for the dog behind the book's main character. The plot line is a little weak, but hey, it IS meant for small children, who aren't exactly the most astute literary critics anyway. The dog DOES smoke a pipe, if this is an issue, but it's an old book, and dogs probably smoked along with everybody else back when this was first written......and I doubt it will inspire your offspring to acquire a two-pack-a-day cigarette habit or go out and score some biker crank or anything. Different and wonderful book
I loved this book as a child, and it was so different from other kids books. It showed me that I could be independent and enjoy my self with simple things in life. A really sweet book that I was glad to find again.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
