L.I.T.A.N.I.E.S is a project featuring the lyrics of Australian polymath Nick Cave matched with the music of Belgian composer Nicholas Lens. Having collaborated on 2014's Shell Shock in 2014, they joined forces again during the lockdown to create this new work. Inner peace and stillness were the initial inspiration for the minimalistic, at times trance-like music, featuring Lens's daughter Clara-Lane on vocals. There is a clear purpose about the finished opera, a work of gentle beauty.

There was a slight delay with delivery. Then again, it was posted to the UK all the way from New Zealand. The item is still factory sealed, and therefore I have not yet had the opportunity to view or play the actual disc. However, I am relatively confident that everything will be in order. I blame the courier, for that, however, & NOT the seller! Unsure if it was damaged by the NZP, or the USPS. The bottom hinge is badly cracked, & the button in the case's tray was almost completely obliterated. I'd still buy from this seller again. This wasn't their fault.
