There are no menus to get the options you want, and it defaults on English with no subtitles. If you want to view it in another language or subtitle setting, your device needs to be able to adjust that independently. I can't say that I am very happy it's that way, but for the price, it works, quality is ok, and the problems are more of a nuisance than anything.
