    Not successful for us

    The strip comes with a sticky foam strip on the back, covered with a peel-off red plastic strip. Unfortunately, in places, as we peeled off the red strip, it also brought off some of the sticky strip as well, so we ended up having to start again with a new piece and peel off the red strip extremely carefully - and even then it wasn't totally successful and we ended up using UHU in places. Also, the chrome face of the strip has a very thin clear plastic cover, which we assume is to protect the face until it's installed, and then you peel it off. Part of the roll was unusable because the clear plastic cover had somehow been trapped between the back of the chrome strip and the sticky strip on the back of it. So we had quite a lot of waste. Not successful for us and we wouldn't recommend based ...

    Saved me £60

    I had a piece of chrome trim missing on my Mercedes. I was quoted over £66 for a replacement. Thought i would try this product as it was £60 cheaper. I cut off the required length from the roll and it fitted perfectly. It was hard to tell the difference between the actual part and this adhesive trim. very happy with the results and very easy to fit

    A bit naff

    The item was poorly packaged resulting in the outer ring of trim being unusable. The quality of the double sided foam adhesive is very soft and quite thick compared with other brands ( 3M ) thus I question its durability as it is liable to lift as the chrome trim sits too far away from the vehicle. Also the adhesive foam layer is white and doesn't disappear into its own shadow. Product supplied was not of the advertised brand ( Cobra Accessories ). Whether the advertised brand is any better, who knows, cant find it on the internet, but apparently the supplied brand offers a splendid display of colliding with bears ( see label ).

    Self Adhesive Chrome Strip

    I bought this 10mm wide strip thinking that the 15 meter length was an error and should have been 5 meter like most other listings on eBay. The strip is of great quality and the adhesive sticks great. If you intend to stick this strip in an area where there are sharp edges or undulating shapes you will need a hair dryer to soften the strip so that you can keep the strip in close contact with the angular shapes of the car body. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to pimp up there ride.

    Good quality.

    Good quality easy to apply just make shower that the surface is clean and free of grease and dust.i put it down each side of car looks good.
