Super knife sharpener!
In the past I’ve used an electric Chef’s Choice sharpener. It’s at least 30 years old. Since I got a new Wüsthof chef knife, I realized I needed a new sharpener. I decided to try a Wüsthof non-electric knife sharpener. And wow!! I sharpened a 30-year old Henckels chef knife, and my new Wüsthof. Very, very sharp and so easy to use. A rubber button that keeps it from slipping. Just pull the knife through at a 90° angle and after 5 pulls on both coarse and ceramic, I got wicked sharp blades. Just $19.99. Highly recommended.

A Good Product with a Bad Design
This is a very good quality product. It is made of sturdy plastic with a non-slip pad on the bottom. My only criticism of this sharpener is that there's flare immediately below the area where you draw the knife through; consequently, it's impossible to miss hitting this flare with the tip of your knife each time you draw it through. This cannot be good for the knife. And I'm not a novice at sharpening knives, so it's not my technique that's causing this to happen. So bottom line: if you need an affordable product, this is a good one. HOWEVER -- if you have very expensive knives, I wouldn't recommend this due to the design flaw I've mentioned. I'll probably end up giving this to a family member and getting something else.

Excellent knife sharpener
Easy to use, durable and it actually works! I've tried many other knife sharpeners but had no luck until now. This was my last hope before taking the plunge and buying an expensive, electric version.

Watch your fingers
Never been very good with sharpening knives and I usually just take them to a pro. This sharpener solves all my problems. Simple, quick, and really sharp knives.

Sharp!
I was really tired of dull knives. I wanted something easy to use, compact and that actually worked. This 2-stage sharpener fits the bill. It's comfortable to hold - doesn't slip out of my hand. Over time, it's making quite a difference on some of my really dull blades. I can actually do that slice the paper thing after I've used the sharpener.

Good, inexpensive kitchen tool
Not a bad sharpener for $10. I've used it about ten times and it has done a good job at restoring a cutting edge on my kitchen knives.

Works great.
Product works. Got a couple of dull kitchen knives that can now cut anything from tomatoes to chicken bones with ease. Works great!
