Neither buyer nor seller had any way of knowing that the package was damaged during shipping and waylaid as a result. This seller was communicative about the issue in defense of himself and his selling practices first and foremost. There did not appear to be any compassion about the buyer predicament, thus a refund appeared to be the only fair outcome. I checked with the carrier to see if it was perhaps misplaced in the back. They looked and said it was not, and that it was most likely in transit to her. I told her this, she asked for a refund, which I immediately gave her. I'm not sure what else she would have had me do.
