    EXCITING READ

    Pirates have never interested me. But, the Author Michael Crichton has and still does interest me. He is the most compelling Author of all. He kept me fascinated about the story, because of the research he must have done to gain knowledge of not only Pirates but the sea, creatures of the sea, ships of that time and the expertise in sailing a ship in the 1600's. I learned a lot.

    Yay Pirates!!! I read this book like 8 years ago. I really enjoyed it. Thought I’d get it and reread.

    Sometimes confusing

    As with most of Michael crichton's books he pulls you in. however; this book moved in segments and at some points was hard to follow. overall a good rating. a hard read but engaging.

    A marbelous story told by a master storyteller.

    I have read over 20 of Crichton's books - and most all were impressively researched and compelling. The 13th Warrior and Pirate Latitudes were the very best. A delightful story filled with fascinating details, a cunning Captain, and a crew of specialists adept at their tasks. Action packed, great twist ending.
