Good ole Mellencamp
Always loved John Mellencamp.My husband was from Indiana and we'd drive thru Seymour Indiana,the home town of John Mellencamp and see alot of thongs from his older (80's ) video..like the starlight drive in... I lived in Europe 9 years and the man had a lot of albums out when I came back to America. This album is good with all of his hits.

Excellent American Folk Rock Compilation
This album has an amazing collection of hits spanning a decade. It causes a recollection of happy moments as an eclectic instrumentation and gifted balladeer brings in the his past with snapshots of rural America. Heartily recommend for any who would not dare miss out an era of beautiful songwriting that captures the imagination and elate the heartstrings. I would definitely concur with my sibling brother that at times John Mellencamp would seem reminiscent of John Hiatt, another contemporary musician.

Mellencamp hits
This best of has the essential songs we all know. So in that respect it is a good cd, I just wish it went a little further in to the 90's . But I still think it is a good cd.
