Great for the inquisitive child!

Nice set, durable wood made to last!
The pieces are real wood like the ones of my childhood (just a different finish) My grandkids (ages 5,8) love them and they keep them engaged in creative play! To go with this set, I also purchased the "On The Trail" Set. (And plan on giving more on upcoming birthdays.) I would recommend buying extra set(s) to add since building and imagination is limited with this small amount. Huge tin for amount of pieces
I'm sure the idea is to have this big bucket and fill it with more pieces over time, but I didn't know that and don't need such a huge bucket for my 2.5 year old's room.
